About Us
A native New Yorker, Amanda Mathews grew up on 102nd street on the West Side. Life in the city provided cultural opportunities during her formative years, which later fueled her desire for travel and study as a young woman.
In 1998, Amanda had the opportunity to open her own studio, and so Chambers Pottery was conceived in the heart of Manhattan, New York City. Chambers Pottery provides a welcoming and relaxed environment, which makes it an ideal place for new and advanced students alike to participate in pottery classes.
